Lev Eisha of Adat Shalom

Directions

Lev Eisha services are held at Adat Shalom, 3030 Westwood Blvd., Los Angeles CA 90034. The synagogue is on the Southeast corner of National Blvd. and Westwood Blvd. Visit the Adat Shalom website.

There is parking on the streets, and in the Adat Shalom upper parking lot across Westwood Blvd. at Trader Joe's. Please cross at the corner. Do not jay walk as the curved street reduces visibility.

If you're coming from the North on the San Diego Freeway (I-405), exit at Olympic/Pico (just before the interchange to the Santa Monica Freeway (I-10). Turn Left at the bottom of the exit ramp onto Sawtelle. Continue South to National Blvd., and turn Left. Continue about a mile East on National to Westwood Blvd., and park.

From the South, take the San Diego Freeway (I-405) to the National Blvd., offramp. Turn right on National at the bottom of the exit ramp. Continue East to Westwood Blvd.

From the East, take the Santa Monica Freeway (I-10) to the Overland Ave. exit. The exit ramp flows directly into National Blvd., so continue straight West. The first light past the exit is Westwood Blvd.

From the West we recommend taking the city streets. Alternatively, use the directions from Google.

Services are held in the Sanctuary unless there is a time conflict with another simcha. If so, we will be in Newmark Hall. Either can be reached by going through the front door at the corner, or the side gate on Westwood. The front door opens into the main entry hall, which has doors on the left, first into the Sanctuary and then into the Social Hall, and on the right to the restrooms. The door at the far end of the hall opens into the courtyard, as does the side gate. Newmark Hall opens onto the East side of the courtyard with French doors.

On Shabbat, and during an event, the front doors are open. The side gate is always locked, and has an intercom to the office during the week. From the courtyard, the office is on your right at the end of the first building. The door into the main hall, leading to the Social Hall, Sanctuary and restrooms, is on the North side, in the brick building with the big windows.

A limited number of handicap parking spots is available on the north side of the building, along National Blvd. We ask that you leave all of these, including those not marked for handicap, for people with extremely limited mobility (using wheelchairs and walkers). There is a wheel chair lift on the Westwood side of the front door. In addition, there is flat access into the Social Hall from the handicap parking, but this door stays locked, so someone will have to come around and open it if you wish to come in that way. The other entrances all have a half flight of stairs. The access to all but the nursery school is flat once you are inside. There are wide doors in all of the reception rooms and accessible bathrooms.
