Instructions for Joining the Lev Eisha Community Bulletin Board


The software that runs our online bulletin board (BB) is hosted by Runboard.com, therefore you must sign up for a free Runboard account to use the BB. You must also be a member of Lev Eisha (print your own membership form). Signing up will take a few minutes. If you have any problems please send an e-mail to the webmistress.

  1. Register for free access at Runboard.com.

  2. You will be sent three e-mails by Runboard as part of the registration process. The first alerts you that you're signed up. The next has your temporary password. It also has a link to your Control Panel. The third just asks you to add a link to Runboard if you have a website. If you don't have a website, ignore it.

  3. Go to your Runboard Control Panel (use the link in the e-mail or login and use the link at the top of the screen) and change your temporary password for one you can remember easily, longterm.

  4. Apply for admission at the Lev Eisha Community Bulletin Board. Make sure you put your real name in the message box so we'll know who you are.

  5. The Webmistress will review your applicaton, and confirm your membership status with the Membership Chair. When your application has been approved, you'll receive one more e-mail from Runboard, informing you that access has been granted. It also contains a link to the BB.

  6. Go to the BB, post some messages, and make some friends! Bookmark the main page of the BB so it'll be easy to check in. The "new" marker will show you if there are messages you haven't seen. If you don't logout you won't have to sign in when you return.

There is a detailed, step-by-step description (3 pages worth) in the Instructions document. If you have any further questions, please e-mail the webmistress.

If you've tried to sign up but you're confused and you really need help, our Webmistress will do the application process for you, and then e-mail you what you need to know. You will receive an e-mail from Runboard.com saying your primary e-mail address has been changed; you must click on the link in that e-mail to confirm that we've changed the account over to you. Everything else will be done. If you'd like to do this, click on Apply For Me, fill out the form, and send it to the Webmistress.
